SHIPPING & FULFILLMENT POLICY

We provide free shipping to the contiguous United States for tables and tables with matching benches. Shipping for all other items (including individual bench orders) will be charged to the customer. Additional charges may apply for any shipments (including tables and tables with matching benches) going to Alaska and Hawaii.

 

Tracking information will not be available until the order has been picked up by the carrier. We will provide applicable tracking information when it is made available to us. All lead times are approximate and estimated to the best of Omega Custom Design’s ability. Lead times include (but not limited to): production, packaging, shipping, transit, delivery. Omega Custom Design will do its best to meet lead times. However, it is important to understand that there are several factors outside of our control that directly impact lead times. These include (but not limited to); our wood supply, our wood supplier/s wood supply, the wood supply at the mill, the mill, our supply of finishing products, our suppliers supply of the finishing products we use, the manufacturers supply for the finishing products we use, the availability of needed supplies and tools for production, the availability of LTL freight carriers, the efficiency of LTL freight carriers, the ability of LTL freight carriers to contact recipient to arrange delivery, the availability of recipient to accept delivery, weekends, holidays, natural disasters, pandemics, etc..

 

If you need your item by a specific date, contact us prior to ordering. Cancellations, refunds, returns, and/or exchanges will not be allowed on the basis that the lead time is over-due.

 

Shipping services and freight carriers will be chosen at Omega Custom Design’s discretion. Omega Custom Design is responsible for arranging all shipping and freight services for ordered products shipping to our customers from our facility. All shipments are fully insured for loss and/or damage. All products are carefully inspected prior to shipment. All claims, including defects, shortages and/or errors must be made in writing to Omega Custom Design with accompanying photographs of product and shipping/packaging/pallet materials within 5 days after receipt of delivery. All shipping/packaging/palletizing materials must be retained until inspection is made by all parties. Failure to make such claim and/or comply with these requirements shall constitute full acceptance of the merchandise and waiver of all defects, shortages and/or error.

Customers should carefully inspect all items at the time of delivery and note any obvious damage or shortcomings.

 

Omega Custom Design will not assume responsibility for delays, failure of delivery, loss, damage, or penalty charges caused by and not limited to incorrect names, addresses or telephone numbers. Customers will be held responsible for providing us correct names, addresses and telephone numbers. Any fees (storage, return, reconsignment, etc.) associated with these errors or changes will be billed to the customer. If customer is unable to accept the agreed upon delivery for any reason or refuses delivery for any reason, Omega Custom Design reserves the right to have the goods returned to our facility and/or transferred to storage. Any fees related to the return and/or storage will be at the customer’s expense. In addition, the customer will also be responsible for additional shipping charges, including re-delivery, if applicable. There will be no refunds made for refusal and/or inability to accept delivery. Customer bears all risk and responsibility for any loss or damage obtained during return and/or storage.

 

It is the customers responsibility to ensure that any items ordered will fit into the space. Omega Custom Design will not be responsible if an item does not fit. Additionally, it is the customers responsibility to move the item into the space (home, garage, shed, building, etc.). We will not be responsible for any fees incurred for moving and/or assembly of the item. Liability and ownership of the item transfers to the customer when the carrier has delivered the item. Omega Custom Design assumes no responsibility and/or liability of item after delivery.

 

Any disputes or arbitration will be handled under the laws of Iowa and under the oversight of the law firm designated by Omega Custom Design.

Most items are shipped via freight. Tables and benches will be unassembled and palletized for shipment. All customers will receive tracking numbers once your order ships.

Omega Custom Design is not liable, nor responsible, for lost or damaged items incurred while in-transit. Any damage incurred during shipping is the responsibility of the Customer to file a claim with the shipping company. Omega Custom Design will work with our customer and carrier to resolve the issue.
